The best way to experience another culture is to spend some time with people of that culture. We offer the traveler to Russia this opportunity through our accommodation service.

We have a number of Russian hosts who are ready to open their homes to foreign travelers. While the amount of living space is less than what north Americans are accustomed to, they are nonetheless clean and functional. Extremely few Russians, except in the villages, have detached single-family houses.

These are flats or apartments, and most have only one bathroom that must be shared by everyone. Bedrooms usually serve also as a living or sitting room, so the bed is opened each night and put away in the morning.

If the owner of the flat remains there during your stay, you will be invited to share in their meals. For those who want more privacy we offer unoccupied flats as well.

The price for this kind of accommodation varies, depending on the location, the number of rooms, and the degree of luxuriousness.
