Who We Are

Russia Concierge Services is a joint Canadian-Russian venture. The two principles of the company are Steve Rison — based in British Columbia, Canada, and Tatiana Roussian — based in Moscow, Russia.

Steve has many years of entrepreneurial experience as a self-employed businessman, as well as a long history of serving as chair or president on the boards of various non-profit and for-profit organizations. He has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (1968) and a Master's degree in natural resources management (1998). Steve first travelled to Russia in the fall of 1997, and has returned many times since. It is as a result of these trips to Russia that Steve realized the potential need and value of such a service as Russia Concierge Services to both the business and tourist traveller to Russia.

Such a service would not be possible without the close cooperation and support of a competent and reliable Russian partner, and Tatiana fulfills this role admirably. She has a law degree from the Byelorussian State University (1982) and has many years experience as a legal consultant to foreign international companies, particularly in the oil and gas sector, doing business in Russia and in Kazakhstan. She also has a diploma as a guide and translator in English (1995), and a diploma (2003) from the International School for Psychotherapy, Counseling, and Group Leadership, an internationally-recognized program jointly offered by the Harmony Institute of St. Petersburg, Russia and the Concord Institute of Concord, Massachusetts, USA. Tatiana's experience with foreigners in Russia, as well as her extensive network of professional, business, and personal contacts throughout many cities of Russia, enable her to deliver the high-quality services that our customers want and expect.
